Calgary Killarney Artistic Swim Club offers a wide range of programs, from basic lessons for those new to the sport to national level training and competitions.
As a club we are build around a model of helping athletes and their families progress through the different levels of training with the goal of helping every athlete find their home.
Swimmers of all ages train and compete with teams from across the province. Our provincial stream athletes train an average of 3 days a week. In addition to training, provincial stream athletes perform their routines in 4 competitions a year - including a bonus out of province competition (usually British Columbia or the Praries)
Our national program is for elite athletes who are ready to make a major commitment to artistic swimming. Athletes at this level attend major competitions both locally and throughout Canada. In addition to their pool time, these athletes receive weekly training from a flex/gymnastics specialist, ballet specialist, and Olympic level strength trainer.
During the last two weeks of August, Calgary Killarney offers a series of camps/ The camps are designed for both new swimmers interested in trying out our sport and returning swimmers looking to get back into the water in advacne of teh season.
